Position: Applications Business Analyst
Location: Liverpool
Salary: �27,000-�30,000
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:45am-5:00pm
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term

Adecco are excited to be working with an extremely high profile client who is looking to recruit a highly motivated Applications Business Analyst for a fixed term contract of 12 months.

About the role:
You will be maintaining and developing all existing IT applications within the group therefore an advanced knowledge of IT interfacing is essential. In addition to this, you will be liaising with suppliers, customers and consultants to ensure that all systems and interfaces are up to date and working to customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities include:

*Working closely with the external infrastructure team to ensure all interfaces are maintained
*Monitor costs and fees associated with all EDI interfaces
*Provide support for all interface files between ERP and Navision
*Answer Data queries
*Provide files and timings from Navision
*Monitoring interface files
*Provide Ad-hoc data reloads
*Development & re-development of interface files
*Management of outsourcing
*Provide assistance to IT leads within global SAP project when required

The ideal candidate will have a background in IT, specifically experience in applications and interfacing within an analytical capacity. The following qualities and experience are also required:

*SQL database experience
*Highly experienced with EDI interfacing
*Business Intelligence system experience
*Experience using SAP
*Knowledge and experience using Navision
*Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
*A strong level of self-motivation and initiative
*Excellent verbal and written communication
*Ability to solve problems quickly
*Good organisational and documenting skills
*Availability for occasional travel to other sites
*Must be flexible for occasional out of hours work
