AI Project Manager

Position : AI Project Manager

Location : Manchester

Salary : £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Duration : Fixed Term for 24 months

Our client, a leading education facility, is seeking an experienced AI Project Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of their transformative portfolio of programmes and projects and help shape the future of the institution.

As the AI Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within budget. This includes project definition, resource management, risk and issue management, and consolidated reporting. You will play a crucial role in driving the alignment of projects with our client's strategic vision and plan.

To be successful in this role, you should have demonstrated experience in delivering projects in a complex governance environment. You should also have a track record of successfully managing stakeholders and delivering reporting to governance bodies. Knowledge of change management methodologies such as Agile and Lean would be advantageous, as well as experience in the higher education sector and business intelligence strategy and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

·  Provide recommendations for project definition, resources, schedule, and budget

·  Drive alignment of projects with our client's strategic vision and plan

·  Support the implementation of a comprehensive delivery approach for programme and project management

·  Deputise for senior project/programme managers when necessary

·  Deliver strategic projects, including governance structures, project team management, schedule and progress reviews, risk management, budget tracking, and benefits management

·  Assume business change manager responsibilities where required

·  Ensure stakeholder satisfaction and accurate delivery of information to governance bodies

·  Contribute to the development of the capability of the Strategic Project and Programme Delivery service

·  Manage project partnership arrangements with key partners across professional services

·  Collaborate with colleagues to build networks and establish a community of practise

Person Specification :

- Essential Criteria : Project Management, Change Management, PRINCE2 Practitioner/APMQ or equivalent qualifications/experience, People Management and Development

- Skills : Engaging with wider context & Embracing Change, Achieving Results & Delivering Excellent Service, Finding Solutions, Using Resources Effectively, Working Together
