Job Title: After Sales Engineer

Location: Flexible

Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Do you have a passion for engineering and providing excellent customer service? Are you looking for a challenging role where you can utilise your technical skills? Our client, a leading engineering company in the industry, is seeking an enthusiastic After Sales Engineer to join their team.


·  Ensure commissioning and decommissioning equipment, providing guidance on equipment arrangements and coordinating installations globally.

·  Maintain up-to-date documentation for all equipment and troubleshoot recurring breakdowns.

·  Conduct thorough training for equipment operators, maintenance technicians, and supervisors, ensuring they are equipped to operate and maintain equipment effectively.

·  Provide technical support both remotely and on-site, responding promptly to customer queries and assisting with preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

·  Supervise workshop operations, production output, and adherence to quality procedures, providing recommendations for optimisation and improvement.

·  Monitor equipment performance, analyse data, and propose action plans for enhancing safety, reliability, productivity, and cost efficiency.

·  Establish and maintain strong communication with customers, reporting any deviations from standard processes and identifying opportunities for service enhancements.

·  Stay updated on competitors' activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of products, equipment, and processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

·  Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

·  Experience in a customer service role and quality control/inspection is advantageous.

·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

·  Excellent command of spoken and written English.

·  Willingness and ability to travel regularly (30-50% of the time) for short periods.

·  Strong technical skills in electrical, mechanical, automation, and hydraulic systems.
