We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to join our client's parts sales department in the Lancaster area.

Permanent/Full Time or Part Time

Salary £24-29K per annum full time or Pro Rata

Mon-Fri -free onsite parking (must drive to get to thsi location)

Our client is an established specialist in motor trade oarts. As well as new, used & reconditioned parts they manufacture their own range of specially developed accessories and extra equipment. They have a busy workshop, design engineering team and vehicle sales.

It is important that you have some experience of parts sales; preferably in agricultural, heavy vehicles or with a machinery dealer as well as good mechanical awareness and/or knowledge of vehicles & parts.

They provide a full induction and on-the-job training within their smalland friendly team.

The work you do will have a very direct impact on the success of the business.

You must have strong IT skills including clear email & WhatsApp communication and a good telephone manner to be able to offer customers the top service which they expect from the business.

Sound numeracy & literacy skills are a must as is a methodical & orderly approach to work.

They have an international customer base so it's just as likely you'll be dealing with someone from the USA or Japan as from Lancashire. Many of their customers are upgrading & modifying their vehicles so the work is varied and interesting.

Role & responsibilities:

Deal with customer parts enquiries in a friendly, timely manner by email, WhatsApp phone & face-to-face.

Offer advice to assist customers with fault diagnosis with a view to maximising profit for the business.

Support colleagues in listing parts on our own website & eBay.

Place orders with suppliers, book in deliveries & follow up on shortages.

Assist in keeping internal stock systems up to date including periodic stocktakes.

Cover for colleagues during absences.
