The Position

Do you have a passion for Administration and looking to work within an international environment? Here at Roche we are recruiting for an administrator to work closely with our Biometrics Team based at our purpose built facility in Welwyn Garden City.

Responsibilities include:

As a member of this growing team, you will provide administrative support to allocated team members/functional teams while managing/co-coordinating calendars and booking of appointments. You will organise internal and external meetings, including teleconferences and videoconferences and organise local and international travel, hotel bookings, car hire/chauffeur cars and itineraries.

As an Administrator you will also be required to prepare presentation slides, spreadsheets, type minutes, reports etc. and work within a team to raise purchase orders, make invoice payments and process expenses.

Other duties include:

·  Ensure internal and external documents reflect the company corporate standards according to department procedures
·  Prioritise workloads and ensure deadlines are met
·  Carry out daily administrative duties including: photocopying, distribution of incoming mail, courier requests and dealing with telephone/e-mail queries.
·  Ensure internal systems are kept up-to-date
·  Provide back-up support in absence of other administrators
·  Assist with the new starters and leaver process within the group/department
·  Work with other administrative staff to ensure consistency of approach and exchange of best practices

Supported by major motorways & airports as well as being a 30 minute train ride to London, access is easy. Who you are

You will need to be educated to a minimum of GCSE Level with English and Math and be proficient in all MS applications inc. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google.

To be successful in this role you will be a great team player and communicator. You will show a real interest in your team, have strong business acumen and be able to work autonomously. You will show initiative and drive and be happy to help others when needed.
