To ensure that a complete and up-to-date account is kept of all debts (other than rates and
grants) owed to Council and to provide effective follow-up of outstanding monies.
To provide a high level of customer service.
Essential Experience or Skills
Working knowledge of debt & legal recovery procedures.
Proven experience in a customer service role in an office environment.
Experience in a general office administration or similar role.
Proven experience in data entry with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word etc
Desirable Experience or Skills
Two years accounts receivable experience, preferably in Local Government, with an
understanding of basic GST principles
