Position: Accounts Assistant (Part time)(Permanent)

Location: Hatfield
Hours: Ideally Tues/Wed/Thurs 9:00am-5:00pm (can be flexible)

Pay Rate: £12 - £13 per hour

My client based in Hatfield is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing business. They are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for quality and service.


·  Posting on Purchase Ledger Invoices

·  Full credit control - debt chasing, statements, queries etc.

·  Company credit card expenses - tying up receipts with statements and posting to Sage

·  Reconciling Bank/eBay & PayPal Accounts. Including reconciling credit card receipts from all source (including point of sale machine).

·  Posting Bank Transactions to Sage (Sales/Purchase etc). Customer receipts, supplier payments and nominal payments/receipts.

·  Petty cash expenses - checking reconciliation & posting to sage

·  Vehicle costs/projects in Sage

·  Assist with various monthly balance sheet reconciliations

·  General administrative duties as and when required


·  Candidate must have experience in Sage/purchase/stock/sales/nominal

·  Proficient in Word/Excel/Email

·  Good communication skills

·  Attention to detail and accuracy

·  highly organised with the ability to time manage
