We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a successful organisation based in Loughton.

The role is a maternity contract, ideally with an immediate start for approximately 9.5 months:

·  Daily bank reconciliations -allocating all payments/receipts

·  Coding and processing purchase ledger invoices

·  Processing sales ledger invoicing via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

·  Investigating and resolving both purchase and sales ledger queries, correcting where necessary.

·  Preparing supplier payment run

·  Credit control - running off aged debtors and chasing customers to recover overdue invoices

·  Matching PODs to Invoices -chasing missing PODs

·  Recording logistical and distribution costs monthly

·  Pallet hire reconciliation

·  Updating monthly Intrastat online return

The most suitable candidate will have good organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience in a similar role previously, using Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Excel would be desirable.
