Adecco are seeking an Accounts Administrator for our client, previous exposure to Purchase Ledger and Cash Management is a distinct advantage, as is previous accounting experience and accounting qualifications (Partial/Fully).

You will be tasked with providing support and assistance within the accounts department and ensure a high level of customer service is demonstrated at all times along with efficient management of own workload. You will be using Sage 50 Accounts as well as an internal bespoke system, good basic IT skills is an advantage along with the ability to navigate your way around Excel.

Other duties will include;

*Timely resolution of all queries that may arise in the processing of vendor invoices and credit notes, via the ticketing procedure.
*Accurate and timely reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts, credit card accounts and PayPal, including notification to the various department regarding client funds received.
*To manage and process expenses incurred from travel, ensuring they are submitted and reconciled in a timely manner.
*Accurate reconciliation of vendor statements in preparation for monthly payment runs.
*Updating and maintaining Excel spread sheet detailing all final VAT invoices that need to be obtained from suppliers.
*Both written and verbal communication with suppliers in the retrieval of final VAT invoices, recording all information in Excel.
*Ability to ensure month end procedures and reports are executed in a timely manner and submitted to the Head of Accounts or Accounts Supervisor.
*Accurate filing and high level of organisational skills.
*Prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
*Communicating with the Head of Accounts and Accounts Supervisor.

You may also be requested on occasion to Assist team members in ensuring timely and accurate submission of monthly VAT returns and support to the Payroll function.
