Fantastic Opportunity to join a well established company based within the Hungerford Area. Our client is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team on a long term temporary basis with the possibility of a permanent role.

Main role duties:
* Creating new account codes / reporting dimensions / project codes etc…
* Maintaining mapping codes tables between the various financial systems
* Reconciliation of between various financial systems, including timely resolution of reconciling items
* Carrying out changes of how the systems interact with each other
* Supporting from a month end close process - opening / closing periods / subledgers etc
* Managing 1-2 direct reports, based in Prague
* Interaction and support for controlling team (actuals reporting) and the FP&A team (forecasting) and doing a system accounting controller role
* Ensuring appropriate interaction of International and US Financial systems with US systems

Project:

* Driving efficiencies / streamlining BAU tasks
* New financial system (Navision 16 ERP) final wave of countries just gone live - supporting and working to deal with any changes
* Change in feeder system for SEC Reporting System of record (HFM); currently fed from Hyperion Reporting - changing to feed directly from Navision 16 - this role will lead this conversion project
* Maintaining and keeping those changes mapped
* Any other project work that involves the financial systems
Must have skills and experience:
* Must have current financial systems experience & knowledge - doing or has done a similar role already
* Experience with Navision, Hyperion Reporting, Hyperion Planning and HFM an advantage
* Accounting knowledge (ACA or similar)
* Understanding and experience of month end closing process
* Excellent time management and prioritization (Triage of issues, managing BAU vs Project work)
* Ability to articulate what they don't understand and a self-starter
* Strong sense of ownership
