At present our client works with connections throughout the
Country, from Local Authorities, Housing Associations and charitable
organisations, and handles approximately 2000 calls per day in reference to tenants in supported housing. In addition, the operator's have a team that deal with out of hours repair calls to properties; this is the team that we are currently recruiting for,
The calls must be dealt with in a patient, sympathetic and understanding manner,
and brought to a satisfactory conclusion as quickly and effectively as
possible. Your role will be largely co-ordination, taking the calls, prioritising the jobs, contacting the contractors and organising the repair, following up on completion to close the role once all parties are happy

The centre is manned 24 hours per day. We are currently recruiting for two additions to the repairs team in part time positions; one shift pattern is:.
Monday -Friday 5pm -10pm 25 hours per week
OR
Monday -Friday 5pm -8.30pm 17.5 hours per week

The shift patterns may vary in the days required to be covered as the role develops so flexibility would be ideal

Key Responsibilities:
Principal Responsibilities
a) Answer all calls through the repairs centre, in a professional efficient manor with good information acquired
b) Required to handle both emergency and routine calls, taking
appropriate action, including calling out the relevant statutory services
where necessary, relaying messages and making concise and
accurate records of all action taken.
c) Identification and rectification of equipment faults, or reporting to the
appropriate service if the problem is of a complex nature.
d) Responsible for inputting, updating and filing all manual records.
e) Dealing with out of hours repair calls, establishing the nature of the
call, and passing emergencies on to the on-call Supervisor or other
appropriate body.
