Actemium EV is a dedicated business unit with a sole focus on the EV Charging/ renewable market, with a high demand in activity in this sector we are currently recruiting for a Civil Site Supervisor to join our expanding team supporting our growing pipeline of opportunities primarily across Northern area of the UK.

At Actemium EV we are expanding our EV charging infrastructure across the country. These sites involve civil and electrical works. The company has several Electrical Site Supervisors, and we are now looking for a strong Civil Site Supervisor to partnership and to support the delivery of the civil part of the work.

This role is a transversal role whereby the candidate will be required to work within all areas of the different area of the company to bring civils knowledge and support.

The Role: 

• Horizontal support of all the project managers to help them to set-up the site, including RAMS and CDM for the civil part of the job.
• Managing our civils subcontractors and assessing them. This involve assessing the quality, conformity with their RAMS
• Teaching our electrical site supervisors about civils standard quality and process to reach. Sharing good practices with them and with our electrical project managers.
• Preliminaries sites survey and design input with our CAD designer and Electrical project manager to make sure the design is correct with civils construction.
• Regularly adding new civils partners to the list of our subcontractors. Assessing their reputation, quality of work and prices.
• Experience of CDM site management
• Coordinate with project managers, electrical site supervisor, and other stakeholders to ensure the civil construction of the site is deliver in time, safely and with high standard quality.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Desired profile

The Person:

• Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry An ability to work with / manage sub-contractors

  Trustworthy and responsible

• Positive and proactive

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously

• SSSTS, IOSH Certificate or similar

• Full/ Clean UK Driving License

• First aid trained

• Working away from home and overnight lodging maybe required
