As an Ambassador for the Spa Natural and the hotel your main roles are to provide excellent customer service to all guests using the Spa whilst maximising all sales opportunities.

You are either studying, newly qualified or a practicing Beauty Therapist with either an NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Level 2 applicants may also be considered.

Various shifts and hours available. The ability to work weekends is essential.

Main responsibilities:

• To welcome all customers on arrival to the Spa, offer advice and ensure their needs are met.

• To perform beauty treatments to the highest standard.

• To maximise the sale of beauty facilities, retail products, repeat bookings and promotions.

• Be aware of company products, special offers and daily events and to maintain knowledge of hotel facilities.

The Mercure Ardoe House and Spa is everything you would expect of a 21st century luxury Hotel. In bringing the 19th century mansion up to date we have taken a great deal of care to ensure that it's grandeur and dignity is not disturbed.

Our Spa Natural includes an 18 metre swimming pool, steamroom, sauna, hot tub, gym and aerobics studio as well as 5 beauty rooms, nail stations, tennis courts and café area.

With 120 bedrooms, 6 event rooms and extensive grounds, no hotel in the North East can rival our capacity or ability to provide facilities and service to our varied clientele.
