Job Description

·  Clean floors, walls, furniture, cupboards etc. of guest room
·  Clean patio and furniture
·  Clean guest bathroom; restock linen and amenities
·  Collect garbage from all receptacles in guestroom
·  Strip and remake beds according to hotel standard
·  Clean and check lamps and light fixtures
·  Clean and fill ice-buckets
·  Check and replace hotel collateral and stationary as necessary
·  To attend to any extra requirements of the guest. 
·  To promptly inform the Supervisor of any defects or maintenance work required in the guest rooms.
·  To inform the Supervisor of guest comments or complaints.
·  Ensure that ice is placed in all occupied rooms.
·  To ensure that all Cubby holes are restock with amenities and linen.
·  To ensure that the trolleys and cubby holes are kept clean and tidy at all times
·  Ensure that all garbage is removed from the trolley, corridor and cubby hole are clean and tidy before going off duty.
·  Ensure that all linen caddies are placed in the originally position on the corridors before going off duty.
·  Be polite and courteous to guest/staff at all times
·  Consistently provide professional, friendly and engaging service
·  Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
·  Any other reasonable requests made by Management

Qualifications

·  CXC passes in Mathematics and English
·  Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
