Job Description
· Assist in the execution of the resort’s sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and market share.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key sales partners including travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, and luxury travel planners.
· Identify and develop partnership through proactive research, networking, and prospecting activities.
· Monitor competitor activity and market trends to provide insights and assist the Sales Manager/Director in implementing marketing initiatives and campaigns accordingly.
· Conduct proactive sales calls, site inspections, and presentations to existing and potential clients.
· Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts, ensuring timely follow-ups.
· Submit regular and special sales reports, market analysis as requested by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
· Manage a healthy sales pipeline and consistently work toward meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Act as the primary point of contact for sales clients, ensuring excellent service and communication.
· Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
· Represent the resort at travel trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
· Represent the resort in a professional manner to promote its image and reputation.
· Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the system.
· Translate marketing materials, contracts, and communication as needed into Russian.
Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the luxury hospitality sector.
· Proficient in English and Russian (written and verbal).
· Strong knowledge of the Russia & CIS market.
· Effective time management and organizational abilities.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a confident and professional demeanor.
· Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
· Self-motivated, target-driven, with a positive attitude and results-oriented mindset.
· Familiarity with social media platforms relevant to the target market, particularly Telegram and Instagram, is an advantage.
· Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures and able to work independently and collaboratively.
· Familiarity with the Maldives market and high-end resort operations is an advantage.
