Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Room Attendant to join our team at Sofitel London St James. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role demands physical stamina and attention to detail, making it an ideal fit for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and suites to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Replace bed linens and towels, make beds, and ensure all amenities are replenished.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitise bathrooms, including fixtures and surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and common areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or room discrepancies to the appropriate department.
• Uphold the hotel's safety and security standards.
• Provide exceptional service to guests, addressing their needs and requests promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and timely room turnover.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Room Attendant in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment is highly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks associated with the role.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemicals is a plus.
• Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
