Located in Melbourne’s vibrant inner-north, we are a leading conference venue and leisure destination offering contemporary accommodation, stylish dining, and versatile event spaces in the heart of Preston. With 383 guest rooms, 13 conference and event venues, and two on-site dining outlets, our property caters to both corporate and leisure clients.
Easily accessible via the 86 tram and Mernda train line—both within walking distance—and with over 400 on-site parking spaces, our property is ideally positioned. Job Description
· Lead, coach and develop the Reservations team to deliver service excellence and achieve revenue targets
· Oversee daily reservations operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and high-quality guest interactions
· Manage occupancy forecasting, yearly projections, and monthly revenue objectives in collaboration with senior management
· Analyse booking trends, occupancy patterns, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions
· Handle all reservation enquiries professionally, identifying opportunities to upsell and maximise revenue
· Monitor and optimise room availability, rate structures, and inventory across PMS, GDS, and online distribution channels
· Oversee group bookings, special allocations, promotional inventory, and key account reservations
· Ensure accuracy of reservation data, reporting, and communication to maintain operational integrity
· Maintain strong product and market knowledge to drive occupancy and revenue performance
Qualifications
· Previous hospitality experience with a minimum 1 year of experience in a Reservations leadership role
· Strong knowledge of Property Management Systems (Opera), GDS, and booking platforms
· Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
· Analytical skills
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while remaining composed under pressure
· Strong organisational and time management skills
