Job description

Key tasks

This role will be responsible for the execution of sourcing to contract for Key F&B Categories as well as supporting the marketing and communication of Accor procurement services to all hotel partners within UK & Ireland. Directly responsible for mitigating price risk across multiple food categories, driving savings & delivering procurement EBIT whilst ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations. A key focus of this role will be to drive sustainable supplier & customer relationships with the creation of robust & innovative sourcing strategies as well as supporting hotels to manage their cost of sale through menu engineering, the procurement category manager will also be responsible for supporting the launch of E Procurement tools including P2P, Menu development & food cost tool.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage the commercial, sourcing and overall supplier relationship.
• Translate business & guest needs into a sourcing strategy
• Determine the best sourcing procurement process e.g. Traditional RFQ/RFI/RFP, eAuction, collaborative sourcing etc.
• Deliver 5% direct saving per annum for food categories, minimise food inflation where possible
• Grow procurement EBIT contributions through promoting AccorHotels procurement services with all hotel partners.
• Actively market the procurement model to franchise partners who are not currently using the procurement services of AccorHotels
• Feedback partner needs to procurement team
• Support P2P platform to additional suppliers & hotels
• Support digitalisation of procurement within Accor
• Roll out Menu Development & food cost tool
• Functional lead for procurement sustainability initiatives
• Ensure all dealings with suppliers are conducted with ethics, integrity & comply with AccorHotels' corporate guidelines
