Key tasks

Novotel & Ibis Auckland Ellerslie is currently recruiting for a Full Time Night Manager to join our fantastic team.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager and working with the Assistant Managers you will assume responsibility to assist in ensuring the effective operations of the Front Office department during the night shift of the hotel.
Your key responsibilities will include welcoming late arrivals, auditing the day’s transactions, preparation of daily reports, safety and security for hotel guests and dealing with any guest concerns that may arise.

Requirements:

• Passion for providing genuine and spirited service!
• Previous Front Office experience required
• Proven experience as a leader.
• Excellent command of English
• Previous knowledge of Opera, Reservations system and loyalty programs is required
• Comprehensive understanding of hotel account reconciliation
• Full New Zealand drivers license – can drive both automatic and manual vehicles
• Flexibility with a rotating roster is beneficial

The successful candidate will be meticulously well presented, confident and highly organised. You should be self motivated and self disciplined, team player and be able to think outside of the square.
