Summary of Responsibilities:

 

Reporting to the Spa and Recreation Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

·  Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
·  Perform nail services including manicures, pedicures, polish changes, nail tips, sculptured nails and paraffin treatments for hands
·  Maintain the inventory of supplies necessary to perform appointed services
·  Maintain all implements for performing manicures including files, clippers, and cuticle cutters in a clean and hygienic manner
·  Proactively educate guests about nail care as requested and include making personal recommendations
·  Prepare charge slips for services rendered and retail items sold
·  Maintain the work area in peak sanitary condition at all times and report any equipment deficiencies
·  Follow departmental policies and procedures
·  Follow all safety and sanitation policies
·  Other duties as assigned

 

 

Qualifications:

·  Previous experience as a Nail Technician preferred
·  Certification as a Nail Technician or equivalent required
·  CPR and First Aid certification an asset
·  Excellent communication and organizational skills
·  Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
·  Highly responsible & reliable
·  Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to): 

·  Frequent sitting and bending throughout shift
·  Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
·  Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling
·  Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
·  Frequent sitting and bending throughout shift
