We are seeking a Duty Bar Manager to oversee bar operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest service, compliance with liquor licensing laws, and effective management of bar staff and resources.
Job Description
·
Supervise and coordinate bar staff during shifts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
·
Act as Duty Manager under liquor licensing laws, ensuring responsible service of alcohol.
·
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and incidents professionally and promptly.
·
Open and close the bar, manage cash handling, and POS operations.
·
Monitor stock levels, coordinate ordering, and minimise wastage.
·
Maintain workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards.
·
Provide shift reports and communicate operational issues to senior management.
·
Wage $31.52 per hour
Qualifications
·
Holds Duty Manager Certificate (mandatory).
·
1+ years of relevant experience supervising bar or hospitality operations, including staff management, RSA compliance, and customer service.
·
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
·
Certificate or diploma in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
