Key tasks

Responsibilities

To ensure the long life and cleanliness of the equipment he or she is provided with;
To ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and back of house areas which include the service corridor and lift, store rooms, fridges and freezers, staff canteen and service counter, the delivery bay and bin area;
To carry out additional cleaning duties specified by the Head Chef or Sous Chef from time to time;
When necessary, you will be asked to carry out basic cooking tasks;

Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment

Ensures that equipment and the workplace remain clean,
 Respects HACCP regulations at all times,
 Applies the hotel's security regulations (in case of fire etc),
 Respects the hotel's commitments to the 'Environment Charter' (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc),
