Kea Lani Restaurant Supervisor
Providing Inspired Food & Beverage to highlight the destination we represent is one of our passions.  As our Kea Lani Restaurant Supervisor, you will support the Kea Lani Restaurant Manager with opening our venues for breakfast service, conducting pre-shifts, supporting the colleagues and providing coverage in the absence of the department manager.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide support in our breakfast venues as needed
  • Ensure the morning staff are set up for success each morning and have the tools needed in order to succeed.
  • Check service stations for necessary equipment and set up.
  • Operate as the point of contact between the hourly colleagues and Leadership team; assume the role of the Manager in their absence.
  • Work in partnership with the Food & Beverage Leaders and Kitchen Leaders to execute the smooth and flawless operation of the Front and Back of House
  • Create unforgettable experiences for our guests

Your experience and skills include:

  • One year food & beverage experience required
  • Previous point of sale system experience preferred
  • Understanding of Open Table required
  • Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
  • Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
  • Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
  • Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance
  • Maui County Liquor Card
  • TIPS Certification
  • Food Safety or ServSafe Certification

Your team and working environment:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50-lbs
  • Constant walking & standing
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing and pulling
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
