Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Director, Talent and Culture in the successful hiring process for the hotel.  This includes posting of positions, screening candidates, managing our Talent Acquisition System, following up on progress of applicants, completing reference and background checks and processing all new hire paperwork including offers and offer letters
  • Interviewing potential candidates for the hotel
  • Educating and supporting supervisors and managers responsible for hiring as to the hotel’s recruitment policies and standards
    • Assist internally with other Human Resources functions and tasks as required

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year administration experience, preferably Human Resources or hotel operational experience
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 50 wpm
  • Computer literacy with strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional telephone manner and demeanor with a natural response to ‘smile’ on the phone
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with previous experience handling confidential issues
  • Thrives in a high energy and fast paced environment, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, with a need to make a difference
  • Team player with strong initiative and self-direction
