What you will be doing:  

·  Work under the direction of the Restaurant Services Manager and / or assigned team leader;
·  Respond to customer calls;
·  Explain and take the food order;
·  Suggest and take orders for drinks;
·  Carry out order deliveries on the floors;
·  Clear the deliveries in the rooms and on the floors;
·  Provide food and refreshment service on the floors;
·  Maintain a close communication link with colleagues;
·  Follow the standards and rules of Fairmont Hotels;
·  Participate in departmental meetings as well as training programs;
·  Perform weekly tasks according to the various procedures in force;
·  Maintain the cleanliness of the workplace;
·  Perform any other duties adjacent to room service as assigned by management.

 

Your experience and skills include:

 

·  Bilingual (English / French);
·  The candidate must have excellent communication skills;
·  Must have aptitudes for teamwork;
·  Basic knowledge of culinary terms;
·  Ability to work under pressure;
·  Catering experience.
