Key tasks
The responsibility of the Housekeeping Coordinator is to support the Housekeeping Department by being the liaison between various internal departments, customers and third party suppliers, carrying out various tasks as assigned and contributing to the overall success of the function.
• Executes assigned tasks effectively and efficiently, supporting the Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
• Operates with the highest level of customer service and attention to detail, ensuring compliance to the hotel policies and procedures.
• Ensures that guest requests are handled accordingly and liaises with the relevant department where necessary.
• Facilitates wake-up calls and other communication, using professional and courteous telephone etiquette at all times.
• Monitors inventory and processes orders, liaising with external suppliers.
• Fulfills administrative tasks, office coordination and filing.
• Updates guest history in the PMS.
• Coordinates special projects as assigned.
