Key tasks

SO Duties :
- Reports directly to the Front Office Manager
-The Guest Relations Officer will be dynamic and efficient to serve all guests approaching the Front Desk with a professional, warm and positive attitude.
- Provide quality service to the guest by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
- Ensure all VIP rooms are checked upon arrival with accurate amenities/set ups
- Ensure all guests are welcome/farewell in a personalized manner; VIPs to be escorted to the room to introduce hotel facilities
- Assist guests in the lobby during busy periods and whenever required (F&B, guests waiting for rooms, site inspections…)
- Responsible for collecting guest feedback in order in the lobby when he/she has the opportunity, and will as well update all the Guest Comments in the Opera Guest History.
- Maintain strict security procedures with accounting procedures, issue of room keys and guest confidentiality.
- Maintain communication channels between hotel guests and all hotel departments both verbally and in writing as required.
- Carry out reception duties when required
- Ensure that guest request/s are being followed up promptly and efficiently throughout their stay; following up with traces
- Provide all guest with accurate and in-depth information upon their request; good knowledge of products, services, pricing, special promotional offers and special events
- Every new shift, to control that a proper handover is made by each Guest Relations Officer, that no documents or work is pending, and that each station is completely clear to welcome the next shift.
- Ensures that the daily operations are smooth.
- Ensure the VIP Program is in place and followed through; ensure it is updated whenever required.
- Lead by example and take initiative to ensure that interactions with our guests are positive and productive.
- To coaching and train his/her team during the operations, ensuring that they reach the Sofitel Standards and that all staffs always keep a positive and dynamic attitude.
- Any other duties assigned by your manager.

We are SO looking for:
Must be able to communicate in English writing and speaking and other languages are advantages.
Bachelor degree and/or diploma holders in hotel management or other related field
Minimum of 6 years of experience in similar position
Should be familiar with basic computer skills and previous experience in using Hotel management software.
Customer Oriented with a pleasant disposition.
Able multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment
Demonstrate a good working relationship with other departments with high level of communication and co-operation in the interests of customer service and improvements in the working conditions of the hotel and department.
Maintain a friendly, neat and pleasant image at all times.
