We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient GSA-Housekeeping (F/M/X) to join our team in Mercure Hyderabad KCP, India. As a Guest Service Associate specializing in housekeeping, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.
· Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces according to established standards and procedures
· Properly use cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals while adhering to safety guidelines
· Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping matters
· Restock guest room amenities, linens, and supplies as needed
· Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness, functionality, and maintenance issues
· Report any damages, deficiencies, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
· Maintain organized storage areas and manage inventory of cleaning supplies
· Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
· Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications
· Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role in the hospitality industry (preferred)
· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
· Thorough knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and safety protocols
· Proficiency in using various cleaning equipment and supplies
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
· Basic communication skills in English and local languages
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
· Customer-focused mindset with a positive and professional attitude
· Relevant hospitality certifications (optional)
· Ability to work in Hyderabad, India
