Key tasks

Ibis Hotel Birmingham Irving Street is currently looking for Experienced Full Time Front Office Manager.

Overview of duties:

• Manages and motivates Front-Office team in order to provide high quality services to guests

• Contributes to guest satisfaction by providing a high standard of service in line with norms and procedures

• Develops high quality relationships with guests, applying the bis hospitality policy from the moment they arrive and throughout the whole stay, in order to encourage loyalty.

• Anticipate guest's needs and take them into account

• Handle guest complaints

• Know all about Ibis Brand' special features and inform guests about the formalities, any special conditions relating to their stay and the services available
• Organise arrivals and departures, encouraging guests to check out at times other than on departure

• Coordinates room allocation, handling any switches as necessary

• Ensure the team operates smoothly: prepare the work schedules taking each person's skills into account, lead, motivate, create a good working atmosphere.
• Prepare the team's training plan and follow up implementation

• Ensure that invoicing and cash operations procedures are respected
