MEZE Bar & Restaurant at Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley
Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley is a successful 4.5 star hotel comprising 200 guest rooms, restaurant/bar & conference facilities, situated in a bustling business district and at the gateway of the Dandenong Ranges.
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager you will be responsible for the efficient operation of this fast-paced restaurant which provides world class wine, food and service to our guests!
Job Description
· Setting, reviewing and maintaining the high service standards expected of a 4.5 Star hotel Restaurant
· Work closely with F&B Manager and Conference & Events Team
· Assist with training and developing of team members on product knowledge
· Liaise with the kitchen on menu, guest feedback and service improvements
· Effectively handle guest and team feedback
· Work a rotating roster across weekdays /nights and some weekends and public holidays
Qualifications
· Previous experience in leading team members
· Experience with cocktail mixology (preferred)
· Strong restaurant/bar service experience
· Ability to effectively manage fast paced environments within the restaurant, bar and conference & events.
