Job Description

Mr Good Guy is seeking Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. Help us celebrate the notion of Asian street food with a modern, urban twist at Mr Good Guy Hobart! 

Located in the Ibis Styles Hobart, Mr Good Guy takes you deep into the night markets of Asia, allowing our guests to experience the hawker food found in the backstreets and laneways of Southeast Asia in the heart of Hobart. We pride ourselves on our fun, contemporary and authentic menu that showcases local produce and international favourites.

You will join our Food & Beverage team and assist in the smooth operation of our F&B outlets. Your food and beverage knowledge is unrivalled. You are guest-obsessed and have built your reputation on delivering exceptional dining experiences with a focus on building a culture of intuitive service that creates special moments for all guests. You will be part of an F&B team that delivers outstanding service.


What we're looking for:

·  An unbridled passion for food and a love of sharing your 'food stories' with our patrons
·  Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated results in developing and motivating teams. Your lead-by-example approach will be infectious
·  The ability to coordinate and manage the day-to-day F&B operations whilst leading and inspiring the team to enhance the guest experience – every guest, every interaction, every day
·  Be a calming influence amid a highly pressured, fast-paced environment, with the ability to sustain and drive positive morale creating a culture that people want to be a part of
·  Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests, and have the necessary skills to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers
·  Good communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
·  The drive to make Mr Good Guy a destination restaurant for South East Asian cuisine in Hobart!

The must haves: 

·  Previous leadership experience
·  Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
·  Experienced with local marketing knowledge in the restaurant industry is highly desired
·  Demonstrated high-quality service standard
·  The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
·  Good communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail
