Job Description

We’re looking for a friendly and energetic team member to join our Food & Beverage team. In this role, you’ll help create great dining experiences for our guests across breakfast, lunch and dinner service.

What you’ll do:

·  Greeting guests warmly and professionally as they arrive
·  Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
·  Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely manner
·  Clearing tables, resetting and maintaining a clean dining area
·  Handling guest queries, requests, and complaints with care
·  Processing payments using POS systems and handling cash/card transactions
·  Restocking supplies and ensuring stations are stocked and tidy
·  Following hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures at all times
·  Supporting colleagues and working collaboratively as part of a team
·  Setting up and packing down service areas as required
·  Communicating any dietary needs or guest concerns to kitchen team
·  Completing daily cleaning and closing checklists

Flexibility is crucial for this role, as you will be rostered across a 7-day rotating schedule, with shifts starting as early as 6:00am and finishing late at night. This is a part-time position, paid at $25.42 per hour.

Qualifications

·  Previous experience in food and beverage, bar, barista or hotel service roles is preferred but not essential
·  A friendly and professional attitude with a passion for hospitality and delivering great guest experiences
·  Comfortable operating coffee machines or working behind a bar (training will also be provided)
·  A team player who can adapt to a fast paced and dynamic environment
·  Strong communication and time management skills
·  Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods and lift/carry light trays or equipment
·  Flexibility to work a rotating 7 day roster with shifts that may start as early as 6am or finish late at night
·  Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices
·  NZ citizenship, permanent residency, or a current and valid work visa/permit. (immigration visa support or sponsorship is not available with this role)
