Essential and optional requirements

- Previous experience in a similar role or any customer service experience, preferably in a fast paced five-star environment
- Explain the menu to guests, assisting those with special needs or preference.
- Organize an assigned section and ensure it runs efficiently and productively.
- Promptly answer the telephone and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling.
- Recognize regular guests by name and anticipate their needs
- Deliver orders promptly and liaise with the kitchen on special requests.
- Offer advice on suitable beverages.
- Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy.
- Bar service as required
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
- Food hygiene certificate preferred.
