Job description

Key tasks

This is an important role within the Hotel with a focus to ensure quality meals to our visitors and guests and taking care of our guests needs.
• 1-2 years experience in similar position, 5-10 years chef’s experience
• Good team leader to drive and develop the team of 8 - 9 staff
• Proven chef and leadership skills in a large volume environment
• Strong customer and administrative focus
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and all internal departments
• Manage budgets, wages, food costs and monthly reporting
• Ensuring compliance in all aspects of the Kitchen and food safety standards
• High energy levels and outgoing manner
• Ability to plan and have a strategic vision for the Department
• Excellent communication skills
• Shows innovation
• Excellent personal presentation
• Cultivate a positive work environment where learning and personal development are benchmarks
• Reliable and committed to role long term
• Salaried position within the hotel management team
