Key tasks
Job Description
Cook I is responsible to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations for menu.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (eg. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)\
Cook menu items in co-operation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instruction
Clean up station and take csre of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
Requirements
Pleasant disppsition and well-groomed
Experience in serving in a hotel outlet will be an added advantage
At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to work permanent night shift including weekends and public holidays
Able to work under pressure
