Job description

Key tasks

Reporting to the chef on duty, a normal shift for you will include:

-taking and serving food and beverage orders, and receiving payment from customers
-preparing food such as omelettes, fried eggs, poached eggs, hamburgers, salads, pizzas, fish and chips, etc.
-preparing foods for cooking (washing, cutting, measuring)
-operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves and deep-fat fryers
-cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils
-ordering and taking delivery of food ingredients
-may arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages

-Have good verbal and written English communication skills

-Understanding of NZ Food Safety Standards in order to maintain an A Grade rated kitchen.
