Daventry Court Hotel are seeking a Conference & Banqueting Manager!

The successful candidate will manage all Conference & Banqueting events within the hotel in full compliance with Mercure standards.

The Conference & Banqueting Manager will have responsibility for the operational team within their department. Driving standards in this area you will work closely with your team to ensure that expectations are exceeded at all times.

Achieving the profit targets within Conference & Banqueting will be key to this role, as well as involvement in the development of the hotel business strategy. Optimising revenue through up-selling and Conference & Banqueting forecasting are just some of the tasks that this exciting new role will have responsibility for.

The Conference & Banqueting Manager will demonstrate the highest level of hospitality and professionalism. Leading from the front, you will be responsible for the training, developing and nurturing of your team to help them in achieving their full potential.

To be considered for this role you’ll need:

- Line Management experience in a hotel environment, ideally within Conference & Banqueting
- Experience within a large hotel where the key business is corporates
- To be approachable and a team player
- Motivation skills
- Emphasis on attention to detail
- High standards of personal presentation
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Understanding of financial information
- High level of spoken and written english
