Job Description
· Plan, prepare, and produce a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and bakery items.
· Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
· Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients.
· Monitor food cost, portion control, and minimize wastage.
· Ensure kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards are strictly followed.
· Stay updated with pastry trends, techniques, and innovations to enhance menu offerings.
Qualifications
· Formal culinary/pastry training or equivalent certification.
· Strong creative and artistic skills in pastry and dessert presentation.
· In-depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
