Are you a coffee lover, do you have experience in the art of preparing it? Would you like to be part of a fun team that is passionate about guest service? Sofitel Queenstown Hotel and Spa is currently looking for a Barista who will join our exceptional Food & Beverage Team

This role is ‘hands-on’ as you will be working as part of a team that provides friendly, efficient 5-star service that meets our guests expectations.

Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas to hotel standards.
- Take orders and maximize sales opportunities through product knowledge and suggestive selling. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests.
- Check ordered meals on collection from the kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance, ensure items are announced.
- Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy as per procedure manual.
- Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
- Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment while on shift.
- Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
- Promptly answer the telephone and maximize sales opportunities.
- Perform all tasks up to Sofitel Brand standards.
- Any other reasonable request within your range of competence as required by your Supervisor or Hotel Management.
