Job description

Key tasks

This role is for a talented individual, with previous experience in coffee making, and a strong desire to perfect their craft and provide an exceptional guest experience at all times.
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Opening of Omni Bar, including setting up necessary tools and supplies
-Making and selling specialty coffees
-Providing attentive and personalised service for all guests and visitors to ensure a memorable experience
- Providing general waiting duties and proactive table service in both Restaurant and Omni Bar floors ¡V Get Closer to our guests
- Maintaining hygiene & safety in the dining area
„-Accurate cashiering for all accounts
- Adhering to Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation
-Assisting other Food & Beverage outlets when required

Key requirements to be successful in the role include:

-Excellent Barista skills
- An early riser ¡V providing a memorable experience for hotel guests each morning
-Be flexible to work across a 7 day/week roster, including afternoon/evening shifts when required
-Have experience in a food & beverage service role, preferably in a 4 or 5 star hotel environment
- Be passionate about quality and providing an outstanding & genuine service
-Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time
-Capacity to work well under pressure and as part of a team
-Exceptional grooming and articulate in communication

Essential and optional requirements

- Must have a PASSION for delivering a wonderful experience to all guests.
- Articulate verbal communication and exceptional personal presentation.
- LCQ Qualification and barista knowledge preferred, including understanding of spirits, beer, and wine.
- Previous bar experience preferred.
- Exposure in a 4 or 5 star service environment preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time.
- Attention to detail
