Job description

Key tasks

-Responsible for overall supervision, planning, control and coordination of all activities of personnel engaged in serving food and beverages in the restaurant;
-Ensure proper coordination with kitchen and bar on daily or monthly specials and promotions: possesses sound knowledge of food & beverage, up selling and availability of menu items;
-Implements and enforces safety regulations and house rules;
-The ability to develop and maintain an elegantly appointed environment, with superior staff, dedicated to an attentive, distinctive experience for all dining periods;
-Performs duties common to all supervisor and other duties as may be assigned;
-The ability to possess a management ability that ensures a successful handling of the outlets; and
-Be familiar with changes and trends in the competition and the market place.

Essential and optional requirements

-At least 3 years’ experience in a similar preferably in a luxury setting;
-Experience working in a multicultural environment ;
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, speaking any Asian language is a plus;
-Strong administration & organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail;
-Demonstrates versatility in responding to guest requests and situations; and
-Remains calm and effective in high-volume work situations.
