Job Description

Banquet Operation

·  Organize and transport all supplies required for the set-up of a function
·  Assist in the set up and break down function rooms according to standard operating procedures
·  Prepare and ensure mise-en-place is complete
·  Deliver F&B/banquet services in accordance to departmental standards and procedures
·  Ensure that all service and storage areas are kept safe, clean and locked
·  Report any complaints, incidents or any other irregularities to management
·  Perform functions of cashiering and dispensing of beverages as assigned

 

Other Responsibilities

·  Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
·  Attend all meetings and trainings as assigned by management
·  Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
·  Assist Food & Beverage Outlets in their operations within peak times when needed
·  Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, outlets and hotel services/features
·  Perform other duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel
·  Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships

Qualifications

·  Demonstrated proficiency in reading, writing, and oral communication in the English language is essential
·  Impeccable personal presentation and professional grooming standards are mandatory at all times
·  Superior communication skills and adept problem-solving abilities are crucial for this role
·  Comprehensive knowledge of Food & Beverage products and service standards is required
·  Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail
·  A minimum of one year of professional experience in food and beverage service is mandatory
·  Extensive experience in customer-facing roles is essential
