Job Description
We are seeking a sales leader to join the Pullman & Mercure Brisbane King George Square as Associate Director of Sales. This is a role has a pivotal focus on MICE but will also assist the Director of Sales in accelerating revenue growth across market segments including Corporate, Government, Leisure, Entertainment and Sporting.
What is the role all about:
· Lead and develop the Conference & Events team
· Develop and execute segment strategies, convert high-value opportunities, respond to RFPs and tenders within required timeframes, and maintain a strong, proactive sales pipeline.
· Strengthen market presence and expand our share across M&E through strategic prospecting, client engagement, site inspections and representation at industry events.
· Liaise with the entire operations team to ensure high quality, impeccable service and experience is provided
· Proactively source new businesses
Qualifications
· Demonstrated success achieving revenue and conversion targets
· Advanced knowledge of OPERA Cloud, & Delphi
· Tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Business or Event Management (preferred).
· Strong negotiation, account management and presentation skills.
· A genuine passion and motivation for the hospitality industry.
