Job description
Key tasks
• Develops an annual Marketing Plan with specific goals and budgets as outlined in the hotel’s Marketing Plan/ Marketing Manual. Prepares working plans to achieve goals.
• Compares actual achievements against goals and takes correctives action.
• Supervises and directs photography for advertising, collateral and marketing purposes
• Ensures the department has comprehensive master slide library for all advertising, collateral and marketing activities.
• Ensures that the Corporate Identity Manual (CIM) is kept up-to-date and implemented as appropriate.
• Ensures the Marketing Manual is kept up-to-date and is used as a training tool.
• Monitors activities of competitor hotels.
• Performs additional related duties as deemed necessary and appropriate to Communications/Marketing/design status.
