Job description

Key tasks

Supervise, instruct and coordinate the activities of Security Associates.
Monitor and arrange shift activities according to schedule requirements and team availability.
Ensure all personnel are present & have assumed their duties. Continuously monitor & oversee the operations.
To be thoroughly familiar with the entire property & cognizant of the areas and functions likely to require attention by the Security Associate.
Serve as a principal source of information on rules and procedures governing security and parking operations.
Keep the Safety & Security Manager informed of any noteworthy incidents or conditions, disciplinary problems or any information deemed helpful to the performance of the Security Department.
Oversee the work of all employees and ensure that areas are being properly patrolled.
Frequently check fire and security systems for proper operation. Be able to troubleshoot security system and retrieve necessary information.
Operate and monitor control panels, alarms and related security equipment.
Identify and report operational problems and hence initiate corrective action and assist with diagnosis and correction of the problems.
