Job description

Key tasks

- Assists the Operations Manager in the smooth and efficient operation of the housekeeping and laundry departments ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, and adhering to the standard required by the resort. Assists in the planning process.
- Provides Guest Services and Hotel Linen Services as well as supervision in the department with the objectives, performance and quality standards according to Raffles standards.
- Maintains the highest standards when handling guest laundry processing procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and maintaining a high quality standard.
Is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the housekeeping attendants by making sure that services required are available and carried out with the utmost efficiency.
- Conducts inspections of corridors, public areas, back of the house and rooms to ensure proper cleaning.
Handles guest complaints in accordance with the customer feedback SOP’s. reporting all complaints to the Operations Manager Housekeeping.

- Demonstrate experience in creating innovative guest experiences
- Ability to work in a remote location or island life

- Experience in pre-opening would be a plus.
