You are a passionate ‘foodie’ and are driven to create an outlet that is destination and critically acclaimed. You will tell stories through food that will indulge the senses and leave lasting memories. With a focus on building a culture of exceptional service that creates unforgettable moments for all patrons, you will lead a team that delivers a premium restaurant experience including breakfast, lunch and dinner; a premium bar; in-room dining; and conference and events.
Job Description
· A charismatic leader, inspiring the Food and beverage team to provide our patrons with a genuinely unforgettable experience.
· Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated results in developing and motivating teams; your lead-by-example approach will be infectious
· The ability to coordinate and manage the day-to-day F&B operations whilst leading and inspiring the team to enhance the guest experience – every guest, every interaction, every day.
· Be a calming influence amid a highly pressured, fast-paced environment, with the ability to sustain and drive positive morale, creating a culture that people want to be a part of
· Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests and have the necessary skills to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers
· Good communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications
· Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and a team player with the ability to assist in all areas of F&B operations during peak times
· Sound operational experience in a hotel restaurant environment with a minimum of 2 years’ of experience
· Continue to build on and drive our upbeat culture
· Demonstrated high-quality service standard
· Demonstrated ability to work within allocated budget, stock control and rostering
· Must have an RSA certificate.
