Assistant  Director, Talent & Culture

This role is an exceptional stepping stone towards future senior Talent & Culture leadership opportunities within a highly respected global luxury hotel brand. 

Competitive Salary:

$85,000 - $90,000 gross annually, based on previous experience and education

What you will be doing:

·  Support the Director, Talent & Culture in strategically managing the Talent & Culture operation in areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits management, workers compensation, and daily administrative tasks
·  Collaborate with Department Leaders and Senior Managers to strategize employee learning & internal professional development
·  Support Department Leaders and Senior Managers with the development of specific action plans to address issues and concerns identified from Colleague feedback, as well as on performance management issues
·  Work closely with our Manager, Learning & Development to assess, develop, coordinate, conduct and track company and brand-specific orientation programs and training programs
·  Identify high potentials at all levels in making sure they are being developed, in support of succession planning
·  Ensure compliance with Fairmont policy and legislation in all aspects of the human resources function 

Qualifications

·  Minimum 2 years experience in a senior HR role required
·  Experience running talent development programs in a highly operational environment
·  Collaborative style, pragmatic and willing to work in close partnership with operational colleagues
·  Confident presenter and skilled facilitator
·  University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
