The Island Chapter: Two Openings, One Story

Luura Paros Cliff – Opening June 2026 with 37 elegantly designed rooms , our signature restaurant Mimi Kakushi and La Cantine Beach and much more to explore.

Following a year later, with 49 more rooms and additional vibrant F&B venues that capture the spirit of the island Luura Paros Sand will open its doors.

Job Description

Your Role in the Story

As our Assistant Cluster Chief Engineer , you’ll play a key role in bringing two distinctive LUURA hotels to life — and keeping them running at their best. You’ll support in ensuring every space, from ocean-view suites to vibrant beach clubs, operates seamlessly and meets our high standards for craftsmanship, comfort, and safety.

This role combines hands-on technical expertise with a passion for innovation and hospitality — helping deliver flawless operations while shaping the atmosphere that makes  LUURA unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Opening Tasks

·  Support the Cluster Chief Engineer in developing and executing the opening plan for Paros Cliff and Paros Sand, including installation, commissioning, and system handovers.
·  Assist in monitoring project progress, identifying construction or quality issues, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and brand expectations.
·  Help establish preventative maintenance schedules, asset registers, and work-order systems from day one.
·  Ensure documentation, manuals, and warranties are complete, organized, and accessible at handover.
·  Support the commissioning and certification of life safety, HVAC, plumbing, and energy systems.
·  Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training the engineering team for both hotels, ensuring alignment with LUURA brand standards and safety practices.

Ongoing Operations

·  Perform and supervise maintenance and repair tasks to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.
·  Assist in managing engineering budgets, tracking expenditures, and preparing reports on maintenance and utilities.
·  Ensure compliance with all safety, fire, and environmental regulations, and support regular audits and emergency drills.
·  Coach and motivate team members, promoting a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
·  Contribute to energy-saving and sustainability initiatives to reduce operational impact.
·  Engage with guests when needed, demonstrating professionalism and service awareness in all interactions.

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For

·  3–5 years of experience as an Assistant Chief Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, or similar role, ideally in luxury hotels or openings.
·  Strong technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
·  Experience managing maintenance operations or supporting multi-property environments.
·  Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
·  Hands-on, proactive, and calm under pressure
·  Excited to work in a fast-moving, people-first environment.
