Key tasks

Overview of duties
The position is responsible for all administrative, financial and operating aspects of the hotel as assigned by Chief Engineer.
* Assist to manage short and long term planning of engineering department.
* Managing and overseeing the day-to-day operation of engineering team to deliver an excellent service experience and product quality to Hotel Guests and Team Member.
* Control and follow up all maintenance issues within the hotel, the preventive maintenance program and performing maintenance checks.
* Ensure smooth running of all the hotel’s technical process, installation and managing renovation projects, develop emergency programs, and take on special projects as assigned.

Essential and optional requirements

• Bachelor Degree or diploma in electronics or technical studies, or degree in hotel maintenance.
• Must be professionally certified in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have not less than five years operating experience in a hotel engineering department, and has a global view of all the hotel’s technical needs.
• Must be familiar with the operations and priorities of all other hotel operating departments.
• Must have practical and theoretical skills in related areas: cold-storage, air-conditioning, building pathology, water processing, Public Building regulations, Boiler, Kitchen Equipment, Fire Alarm, AV system, Laundry Equipment, PABX, CCTV, Communication System or other technical service.
